A Special Spring Equinox Ritual
With the spring season about to pop on Friday March 20th, I wanted to share one of my favorite rituals for this energetically potent time of year. As you engage with these words and images, know that you’re also soaking up a fresh frequency infusion!
Around the equinox and duality of seasons (spring in the Northern Hemisphere and fall in the Southern Hemisphere) there’s a magical uptick in earth’s radiation. Spring is also associated with the color green and the elevated energy of renewal, creation and growth.
To quote one of my favorite bands, let’s get to “Sowing The Seeds Of Love” and harness the powerful vibrations of spring!
Step 1. On a scrap of paper (extra props if you use the plantable seed variety), write down one quality, essence or characteristic you’d like to grow more of this spring (for example abundance, health, joy, presence, self-love, creativity, curiosity, intuition).
Step 2. Find a house plant, garden patch, tree or grassy area where you can dig a small hole. In the hole, place your written intention and sprinkle some corn meal, several corn kernels, a bit of tobacco or any kind of offering you feel inclined to share with Mama Gaia.
Say out loud…“I ________(insert your name) plant the seeds of _________ (insert your intention). I’m excited for the radiant expansion of this essence in support of my highest good, and so it is!”
Step 3. Cover the hole back up with dirt and express appreciation for earth’s amazing altruism and alchemy! Spend a few minutes each day feeling gratitude as if your intention is already your reality.
Step 4. In 4 weeks time (mark your calendar), your seeds of intention will be blossoming. Reflect on all the magical shifts that have occurred and enjoy the personal enrichment!
